Employee Appreciation Day 2023

We love an opportunity to celebrate at Rapid Clean and what better excuse than Employee Appreciation Day? This day was first created in 1995 when Dr Bob Nelson - founding member of Recognition Professionals International - did his doctoral dissertation on why managers do or do not recognise their employees. Studies show that receiving recognition and feeling valued are major drivers in employee happiness and wellbeing and this is really important to us at Rapid Clean.

Our HR department worked hard on putting together something for everyone - a personal message to cleaners and the opportunity to enter a monetary prize draw, along with some lunchtime fun for our head office team.

Our Latest Employee of the Season

Whilst we were all together, we took the opportunity to present our Employee of the Season award. Votes were collated from employees nominating a colleague who they felt had gone above and beyond in their role during the previous season. Whilst many people were nominated, we had a clear winner for Winter 2022/3 - congratulations to Dariusz Lapiak!

Dariusz has been working as Contracts Manager, looking after customers in south west London, since June 2022. He's a fantastic asset to the team and as you will see from the comments below, has made a great impression on colleagues as well as customers...

  • Dariusz is very hard working and is getting excellent customer feedback in writing

  • Dariusz goes above and beyond looking after his customers. He has been exceptional in implementing a difficult new start, all of which has settled down and the customer is extremely happy

  • Dariusz has worked hard to meet expectations, especially with clients as well as getting referrals. We have been receiving good feedback about him from customers. He has been excellent with Ezitracker considering how new he is to the system, and considering how many sites he is currently running

  • He is conscientious and works so hard to make sure that every customer is treated as an individual and he gives them excellent care and attention.

Keep up the good work, Dariusz!
