A Bit of Happy Company News

Suzanne Whitton • Aug 26, 2020

Let’s get it out of the way and say that 2020 hasn’t exactly turned out the way that any of us thought it might. In amongst the doom and gloom, it’s good to celebrate the positives and we’ve had a number of happy things happening here at Rapid over the last few months.

On 24th July 2020, our HR Manager, Emily Hunter, gave birth to a gorgeous baby boy. Christopher surprised Emily and Chris by arriving 8 weeks early and weighing in at just 3lbs! He is thriving beautifully and should be coming home to be with his mummy and daddy very soon. We wish Emily, Chris and baby CJ all the very best.

Next up is some happy wedding news for our business admin apprentice, Louise Kay née Good. Louise and Tom decided to forge ahead with their wedding plans despite lockdown restrictions and based on their happy faces, it looks like it was the right decision!

Every lockdown wedding needs a photo of the wedding party in masks…

We would also like to take this opportunity to celebrate Beth Abbott who has not only passed her business administration apprenticeship with us but has gone on to be promoted into the role of HR Administrator.

Beth Holiday

Beth is a brilliant asset to the team and having won the title of Employee of the Season not once but twice since she joined us in 2019, we wanted to keep her here for good! Best of luck in your new role, Beth.

We hope that despite the extremely difficult period we are all experiencing right now, you’ve found some more positive moments to celebrate as well.
