Highover School in Hertfordshire is a primary school with approximately 450 pupils. The Business Manager, Lynne Maylin, initially made contact during the Coronavirus outbreak. With everything else that was going on, Lynne was keen to move away from the hassle of managing an in-house cleaning team and the school was in need of a thorough deep clean.


One of the cleaners wanted to continue working at the school, so we were able to transfer her under TUPE, meaning that she kept the same terms and conditions of employment.


The benefit of contract cleaning is that we have the ability to mobilise local cleaners at short notice. As a result, we had a full team of cleaners up and running within two weeks of visiting Highover School – something that the school was very impressed by.
