Celebrating Employee Appreciation Day 2025

Jess White • April 2, 2025

Employee Appreciation Day (EAD) is a very important day to us at Rapid Clean. While we appreciate our employees every day, we welcome the opportunity to dedicate some time for celebration. With more colleagues now than ever, 2025 marks the third year of celebrating EAD and we upped the ante. Read on to find out how we are celebrating employees in 2025...

Gratitude on heart in front of leaves

Rapid Clean has been employing people since 1999 and in the October of last year we celebrated our 25 year anniversary! We would not have made it to 25 years without our amazing team, based both in our Wokingham head office and site-based, so we had to mark Employee Appreciation Day in a big way.

Our Motivated Team of People

25 years later, we have a huge team of people who we are very proud to celebrate on Employee Appreciation Day. A few fun facts about our team below:

🌍 58 different nationalities are represented within the team

🏆 45% of head office colleagues have worked with us for more than five years, 22.5% for more than ten years!

😲 175 of our current site-based cleaning colleagues have been working with us for five or more years

How We Celebrated Employee Appreciation Day 2025

We have employees based all over the south of England, from Dorset to Cambridgeshire, so getting everyone together is not the easiest... But we did it anyway!  Our Contracts and Operations Managers cleared some space in their (very) busy diaries to gather at our Wokingham head office. In true Rapid style, we prepared a buffet of picky bits accompanied by Ingrid's Caribbean delights. The spread was as varied as us, from Jerk chicken, Greggs sausage (and vegan) rolls, fruit kebabs, sandwiches and plantain.

Our cleaners are the unsung heroes of many different businesses; there is nowhere that doesn’t need cleaning. We encourage all happy customers to share the love and sing their praises...and they delivered!

In 2024 we received a whopping 32 5-star Google reviews. We made sure to pass this praise onto the cleaners. A small snippet of feedback can be found below! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It can be challenging to reach our cleaners, as they are very busy keeping our customers happy. To show our appreciation, we ran a prize draw for 1 lucky cleaner to win a £100 voucher!

Employee of the season

EAD was the perfect time to crown our employee of the season. Every quarter one of the team is crowned as Employee of the Season by their colleagues, for going above and beyond. This season one of our Contracts Managers won the award...

We were very proud to announce Mirela Tudorache as the winner this season! Mirela looks after our customers in Berks, Bucks and Herts, is attentive, pro active and helpful for both customers and colleagues. Visit our LinkedIn post to read Mirela's heart-warming nominations.
