Who Has Won the Crown of Rapid Superstar...?

Jess White • February 11, 2026

Once again, our cleaning team has impressed us all with their commitment to going above and beyond. We were spoiled for choice when it came to crowning our Rapid Superstar for 2025 Q4. Read on to find out who came close to winning, who won and why…

Rapid Superstar Winner!

Raheela Bibi who cleans at Lea Nursery School in Slough

Raheela has been part of the Rapid Clean team for two years and was both delighted and surprised to receive the Rapid Superstar Award - she says she’s still in shock!

When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Raheela shared that she enjoys working with children and collaborating with different school departments. Her positive attitude and dedication help keep Lea Nursery School shining every day.

Outside of work, Raheela enjoys nothing more than relaxing with a good book.

This is what Rapid's Contracts Manager, and Lea Nursery School had to say about Raheela:

Dariusz Lapiak, from Rapid Clean, said:

"I have received a lot of positive feedback regarding her work and attitude. She is always an excellent timekeeper, has never missed a shift, and consistently demonstrates a high level of professionalism. The client has also commented that Raheela is a lovely person who always completes her tasks to a very good standard and follows all school procedures carefully. I am very proud to have Raheela as part of our team, and I believe she truly deserves this nomination."

Lea Nursery School said:

"I am genuinely pleased to hear that Raheela has been nominated for this award, as she is an incredibly valued member of our school community. Raheela is consistently punctual, reliable, and takes real pride in her work. She communicates effectively and if any concerns arise, she raises them promptly and professionally. What stands out is her thoughtfulness in how she approaches her work - she plans how to zone and rotate her cleaning across different areas each week, ensuring the whole school remains clean, safe, and well-maintained. We see Raheela as an integral part of our school team; she embodies the inclusive culture we value at Lea Nursery School and contributes positively to our shared ethos. She always arrives with a smile, takes the time to ask how we are, and encourages open two-way communication - something we really appreciate. Raheela truly goes above and beyond her role, and I fully support her nomination."

The Nominees

To show our appreciation, each nominee will receive a personalised letter and a small gift:

Marcio Marques Machado who cleans London Women’s Clinic in Berkshire

Edina Muller, from Rapid Clean, said:

“Marcio is simply one of the nicest, helpful individuals I have ever met. He never complains, is always there to help with no ask being too much for him. He always has the biggest smile, and generally just so happy that it makes you feel a little better too on any bad days. It is an absolute privilege to work with him. Both of our clients absolutely adore him as well. I hope he wins, as he deserves a recognition for the work he does.”

London Women’s Clinic said:

“He consistently provides an excellent standard of cleaning across the areas he is responsible for and is always reliable and professional in his work. His positive attitude and attention to detail have not gone unnoticed, and he has been a great support to our team. Marcio is a valued member of the cleaning staff here, and I’m very happy to endorse his nomination for the Rapid Superstar Award.”

Elizabeth Asantewaa who cleans The COATS Centre in Berkshire

Bernice Anim, from Rapid Clean, said:

"She is doing an incredible job."

The COATS Centre said:

"Since Elizabeth started cleaning for me, the place has been totally transformed, it is 100% more clean than before. I have not had the pleasure of meeting Elizabeth yet, but I feel she takes great pride in her work. I call her (without her knowing) “my cleaning fairy” because when I leave the building each day it’s grubby and upon my return in the morning its sparkling clean. I feel Elizabeth should win and deserves this award."

David Blakesley  who cleans Canada Water Leisure Centre in London

Ingrid Antonio, from Rapid Clean, said:

"On every occasion that I have been on site, David has received consistently high praise from the client. She regularly highlights his willingness to go above and beyond, particularly when the team is short-staffed. David is always ready to assist with setting up classes, escorting members to the appropriate areas, and supporting the smooth running of the facility. In addition to his helpful and proactive approach, David takes great pride in his work and consistently ensures that the gym is presented to an excellent standard, with everything clean, organised, and ready for members upon arrival.”

Canada Water Leisure Centre said:

"Dave has been a part of our team since before the centre opened and has truly become a fixture of the building. He is extremely helpful, well respected by the entire team, and very well known by our members, many of whom know him by name and regularly laugh and joke with him. He consistently goes above and beyond his job role, genuinely caring about the centre and taking great pride in his work. The building is always kept clean and tidy to a high standard, and his positive attitude makes a real difference to both staff and members alike. We would genuinely be lost without him. Based on his dedication, professionalism, and the positive impact he has on the centre, I fully support his nomination for this award."

Robert Barber who cleans at Medicana in Hampshire

Anne Sheen, from Rapid Clean, said:

"At a drop of a hat, Rob will cover Cupernham Lane School at 5am in the morning. He also stepped up to a new contract at Christmas; we started on 17th December and after an unexpected absence, Rob stepped up again to cover."

Tracey Hunter  who cleans at Cranford School in Hampshire

Diana Stone, from Rapid Clean, said:

"Without Tracey we would have had a lot of missed cleans. She is covering a lot of sites, even covering at the weekend; she made sure Stockham Primary School was deep cleaned along with myself and other staff on New Year’s Eve - she even worked the Saturday to get this finished."

Alina Kolasinska who cleans at St Saviours Infant School in Somerset

Jolanta Kusznerko, from Rapid Clean, said:

"During very difficult time in her personal life, she never failed to attend her shifts, went above and beyond to complete cleaning up to required standards, and on top of that, she even helped with the cover on other sites. Whenever I am visiting site, her work is always complimented by school staff."

Theresa Burberry who cleans at Minety CE Primary School in Wiltshire

Karolina Podralska, from Rapid Clean, said:

"Throughout this quarter, and during every day since she started, Theresa has been an incredible support to me. She has consistently stepped in to help with deep cleans and has always been willing to assist whenever someone was unable to work. Theresa is always happy to help and has never refused to offer her support. Her work is consistently carried out to a very high standard, and it is a real pleasure to work with someone who has such passion for their job, takes great responsibility for her work, and genuinely enjoys what she does. Since Theresa started cleaning at the school, I can confidently say that the overall standard has improved and the school environment looks noticeably better. She is truly exceptional, and I am very grateful to have her as part of my team."

Marzena Fiks who cleans at Hampden Veterinary Hospital in Buckinghamshire

Melania Balza, from Rapid Clean, said:

"She is reliable, works so hard, and she does a good job."

Cleci Prochnow who cleans at Softcat Marlow in Buckinghamshire

Mirela Tudorache, from Rapid Clean, said:

"During the supervisor’s holiday in December, Cleci showed great commitment by helping and guiding the cleaning cover staff. Her support helped the team work well and keep good standards at the site.”

Mirsade Halaj  who cleans at West Byfleet Infant School in Surrey

Natalia Kalka, from Rapid Clean, said:

"Between October and December, she has consistently gone over and above in her role. She is always hard working, reliable, and takes real pride in her work. Mirsade is polite and professional, and she is always willing to help whenever needed.”

James Love  who cleans at Binks in Dorset

Michael House, from Rapid Clean, said:

"Since I took on the role as Contracts Manager, he made himself known to me and offered me help. As you could imagine, December was really difficult for cover due to me not knowing the cleaners and it being the Christmas period. Without James I wouldn't have been able to complete my jobs throughout December because I would have been covering everywhere. He has been an absolute star covering hours and doing so with no complaints from clients.”

Pepa Mihova who cleans at Loughton Manor First School in Buckinghamshire

Aukse Lekaviciute, from Rapid Clean, said:

"Pepa is a good cleaner and was very helpful for me by covering another site (Vitalscan) on a few occasions, including in an emergency with only 15 minutes notice. If I ask/guide her, nothing is too much. People like Pepa are a massive asset to my team.”

Carlos Da Costa Ferreira Da Silva  who cleans at The Retina Clinic in London

Margarida Moreira, from Rapid Clean, said:

"Carlos is very polite and ready to help out; he is keen to learn and is on hand when needed.”

Francine Stafford  who cleans at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Essex

Kevin Twinley, from Rapid Clean, said:

"Francine manages her workload incredibly well and is excellent with her communication and covering where possible. Her cleaning standards are consistently high and she is incredibly reliable.”

With so many outstanding nominations, the decision was incredibly difficult. Huge congratulations to Raheela, who consistently demonstrates our company values in everything she does.
