Employee of the Season – Summer 2020

Suzanne Whitton • Nov 02, 2020

The last nine months have been tough on everyone so it’s great to be able to share good news when we can. This week we invited the winner of our Employee of the Season award, James Saunders, into the office.

James has been working as Contracts Manager along the south coast , since August 2019. He has clearly made a great impression with customers and colleagues alike. We were pleased to be able to give him a socially distanced round of applause and share all the positive things that his colleagues had to say about him…

“Working throughout the lockdown period was difficult for all of us who were still at work, however all contact that I had with James was lovely. He has always been a pleasure to work with, but I feel that with less people working, it really highlighted his excellent work ethic. James is quiet in general but he always seems to be on top of everything and has it all under control; all in all they are a good egg. That is why I think he deserves this award.”

“James is super helpful all the time and he is always on the ball when it comes to his customers & what is happening at all his sites. He has been extremely helpful to me during the last 2 months answering questions or queries I have had very quickly and efficiently.”

“James is always so helpful and knows a lot about his staff and customers. He seems to really care about the work he does and he is a pleasure to work with.”

“James has really worked hard to make the area his own and has built an excellent relationship with his clients and cleaners which shows in his contract and staff retention. It is a real pleasure working with him.”

Congratulations to James who has fitted well into the team and is always keen to support other departments when he can. Keep up the hard work James, you’re a great asset to Rapid!
