Rapid Superstar Award Quarter 4 of 2020

Suzanne Whitton • Mar 01, 2021

Good management is a vital part of providing a professional cleaning service. We are acutely aware however, that our cleaners are the ones carrying out the work on a daily basis which is why we introduced the Rapid Superstar Award.

Every quarter we ask our operations team to nominate anyone who has gone above and beyond in their role and deserves to be considered for this award. To follow are those who were nominated this quarter, the runners up and finally, this quarter’s winner!

Nominees:

Olwyn VENN-DUNN who cleans Willowcroft Community School

Anna Dabal from Rapid Clean said:

“When Olwyn turned up at this site, it was like a miracle! At last I had a supervisor who I could trust. She is competent, experienced and an excellent team player. She goes above and beyond in her role and has excellent communication skills”

Isabela CARDOSA DA SILVA who cleans Basildon Primary School

Frank Twum from Rapid Clean said:

“Isabela has been so supportive during this pandemic and has helped me to cover different sites. If I have staff self-isolating or on holiday, she is always there to help.”

Demetrius ACHEAMPONG who cleans UK Biocentre

Victor Olowu from Rapid Clean said:

“Demetrius has been so helpful with arranging staff and covering the site before and during the Christmas period.”

Caroline DANCER who cleans Siemens Energy, Sandford Substation

Peter Soares from Rapid Clean said:

“Caroline is doing a great job at a really busy site. She is always delivering excellent cleaning standards.”

Runners Up:

Sarah OPPONG who cleans Beaufort Community Primary School

Bernice Anim at Rapid Clean said:

“Since I took over managing the contract at Beaufort, I have noticed Sarah is such a hard-working individual. She ensures that the customer is happy and has helped us to retain this contract.”

Keith Gibson at Beaufort Primary said:

“I cannot tell you how happy I am that Sarah has been nominated…she is always smiling and is the glue that holds the staff together. She is such a valued member of our team…we can’t talk highly enough of this very special lady.”

Wendy Taylor at Keep Hatch Primary School said:

David NIVEN who cleans AB Precision:

Craig Love from Rapid Clean said:

“David has extremely high standards and is always actively looking for things to clean. He ensures the other cleaner is also at the top of her game. The site has never looked so clean and the customer is extremely happy.”

Graham Seddon at AB Precision said:

“David comes across enthusiastic every day, greeting everyone with a smile and a good morning. Nothing’s too much trouble and he deals with any issues immediately.”

Rapid Superstar Winner:

Alanna Morris Superstar 1 scaled

Alanna Morris who cleans Petersgate Infant School

James Saunders from Rapid Clean said:

“Alanna has never been absent; her attitude is fantastic, and her cleaning standards are great. The staff at the school have a lot of time for her, even celebrating her 18th birthday and making a fuss of her when she passed her driving test. She demonstrates the exact high standards I look for, it’s great to see that someone so young can really make a difference and represent Rapid in such a positive light. The last audit was 100% here and the customer was in full agreement.”

Julie Cook, Head Teacher at Petersgate Infant School said:

“Alanna is a fantastic member of our school team. She is always friendly and professional and I cannot fault her work. She is careful not to interrupt the work of the school in the mornings, yet will do everything she can to help her colleagues. She is a true credit to Rapid Clean.”

Paul Claxton, our Operations Director, was thrilled to present Alanna with her award and prize. What a fantastic asset she is to our team! All of the runners-up also received a small prize in recognition of their hard work.

Keep up the good work everyone🙂
