Quarterly Company Meeting - Reflecting, Celebrating and Looking Ahead

Suzanne Whitton • August 13, 2026

Last week, colleagues from across the business gathered together for our latest company meeting, followed by an afternoon of summer fun, friendly competition and time to connect outside of the workplace. Bringing everyone together is always a highlight - it gives us the opportunity to reflect on what we've achieved, share plans for the future, and celebrate some of the people behind our success.

Company Updates and Customer Journey Workshop

The day began with our company meeting - an opportunity to share insights from across the business and ensure everyone left feeling informed and aligned around our shared objectives. Just as importantly, it provided valuable time for colleagues from different teams to connect, collaborate and learn from one another.

One of the most interactive parts of the day was a customer journey exercise that brought together colleagues from across the organisation.

Working in cross-functional teams, participants reviewed the customer experience from start to finish, discussing what works well and identifying opportunities to make it even better. Drawing on different perspectives and experiences allowed for insightful conversations and innovative ideas that may not have emerged within individual departments alone.

The exercise highlighted the importance of collaboration in delivering exceptional service and provided a number of actionable suggestions that will help shape future improvements.

Outstanding Contribution Award

One of the highlights of the morning was announcing the winner of our Outstanding Contribution Award, which celebrates individuals who consistently demonstrate our core values: Passionate, Focused, Honourable and Respectful.

This quarter's winner, Sophie Herring, was recognised for managing demanding deadlines, taking on additional responsibilities, and her willingness to help those around her. Sophie leads by example and is highly valued by everyone she works with. Her award is a reflection of both her professional excellence and the positive influence she has on the team. Her commitment to these values, alongside her hard work and dedication, makes her a truly deserving recipient.

Congratulations, Sophie, and thank you for everything you do.

Fun in the Sunshine

Following the company meeting, we all enjoyed a relaxed afternoon outdoors with food, refreshments and the opportunity to spend time together away from the day-to-day demands of work.

The afternoon included some friendly competition, with games of rounders and football bringing teams together and providing plenty of laughs along the way. Whether taking part or cheering from the sidelines, it was a great opportunity for colleagues from across the business to connect, catch up and enjoy some well-earned downtime together.

Events like these are about much more than a day away from our desks. They reinforce the culture that makes our organisation what it is, bringing people together, strengthening relationships, and reminding us of the shared values that underpin everything we do.

As we look ahead to the next quarter, we're excited about what comes next and the opportunity to begin implementing some of the customer journey improvement ideas.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise the day and to all our colleagues for bringing such energy, enthusiasm and team spirit.
