Thank Your Cleaner Day Colouring Competition

Nov 06, 2023

We invited our education sector customers to participate in a colouring competition in honour of Thank Your Cleaner Day. All participants were in with a chance to win a prize for themselves and also for their school.

We were delighted that so many schools got behind the initiative, taking the opportunity to share with their pupils the valuable contribution that cleaners make to the day-to-day running of a school.

We asked our head office team to be involved in picking a winner from this amazing array of talent; it was not an easy task! After much deliberation, we chose two runners up and one overall winner.

Runners Up in the Thank Your Cleaner Day Colouring Competition

Our first runner up is 5 year old Oliver from Marsh Green Primary School, who did a fantastic job of staying within the lines and producing such a colourful picture. The second runner up is 8 year old Rose from West Byfleet Junior School, who opted for a night-time scene that stood out from all the other entries.

Well done to Oliver and Rose, a prize will be coming your way shortly.

There Can Only be One Winner!

The chosen winner was Elva from Keep Hatch Primary School in Wokingham. We had the privilege of being invited into the key stage 2 assembly to present Elva with her prize. The amazing colours and detail included in her picture, is what made it so special. Well done Elva, and thank you to the staff and pupils at Keep Hatch School who made us feel so welcome.

A few of the children presented our cleaners (Davina, Beatrice, Sebastaio and Jeff) with a gift of appreciation for their hard work and continued dedication to the school. We also gave a voucher to the school to purchase books or any items they might find useful.

Thank you to all the schools and children who took part in this year's Thank Your Cleaner Day colouring competition. It really was so difficult to choose a winner!
