Celebrating Victories and Teamwork

Suzanne Whitton • May 08, 2017

Every year we hold a company meeting at an external venue, inviting all of our head office employees as well as the Contract Managers and Regional Managers who work out in the field.

These meetings are a great opportunity for all departments to interact with one another as well as to celebrate success and share company updates.

We have had plenty to celebrate over the last 12 months including excellent client retention and quality new business, resulting in good growth. We have particularly focused on expanding the core sectors that we service; the education and medical sectors have seen significant growth.

None of this would have been possible without strong teams of people working well together. We took the opportunity to give a special thank you to 4 individuals who have really embraced teamwork over the last 12 months.

We chose one person from our Sales and Accounts departments, plus two managers from Operations.

Nicola McKelvie – Assistant Accountant

Monique Astruc – Telesales Representative

Goran Velinovski – Contracts Manager

Andy Hollister – Regional Manager

We also celebrated with a couple of people who have been Rapid employees for 10 years – what an achievement!

Bernice Anim is one of our longest standing Contracts Managers and a great asset to the team.

This year we also included a fun team building game which even saw people from different departments handcuffed to one another (there were understandably no photographs of that particular moment!).

We look forward to going from strength to strength in 2017, continuing to provide the excellent cleaning service that we pride ourselves on, whilst hopefully making Rapid an enjoyable place for people to work.
