Employee of the Quarter – Autumn 2015

We’ve been running our Rapid Superstar scheme for quite sometime now. The idea behind this award is to recognise hard work and dedication amongst our cleaning operatives. So far it has been hugely successful and much appreciated by our staff.

But what about our head office team? Do they not deserve praise where it’s due? Of course they do!

With that in mind, we decided to launch a new award – Rapid Employee of the Quarter – our first one having just taken place. We gave all of our head office staff including Accounts, Sales and Operations, an opportunity to nominate one of their fellow employees – someone they feel deserves the recognition – with a reason for their decision.

We were thrilled to award Nicola McKelvie, our Accounts Assistant, with the title of Rapid Employee of the Quarter.

Nicola received an incredible 9 nominations and this is what her colleagues had to say about her….

‘Nicola is hard working, gets the job done, is a great communicator with customers, takes initiative in coming up with new ideas to improve processes and great fun to work with! She is a superstar!’

‘My nomination for employee of the quarter goes to Nicola, always willing to help, writes a great email and has made a great impact on the accounts team.’

‘I appreciate it is early days for a new person to receive such an award, but Nicola has such an enthusiastic approach to her work, and in the last few months has happily taken on additional workload to help cover the holiday period, and brings a wonderful positivity and happiness to the office environment.’

‘Nicola for her efficiency, can-do attitude and professionalism. A great team player!!’ 

‘Nicola is always helpful, has a  smile on her face even when customers/clients and me, have asked questions.’

‘Nicola is a great asset to the organisation and fits in so well. She is always so willing to help with anything thrown at her and has been very supportive to Carol, Claire and Tony over the last few months.’

Congratulations Nicola, you are a great asset to the Rapid team.
