Employee of the Season – a Clear Winner

Suzanne Whitton • Jan 27, 2020

This is without a doubt, one of our favourite times of the year – announcing our latest Employee of the Season. Last time we had three winners , each one receiving an equal number of votes. This time around, we had a clear winner who received seven votes from her colleagues!

This season’s winner is Becki Lee, our HR Generalist and Apprentice Lead. Becki works at head office and is such a fantastic addition to the team. Take a read of the lovely things that her colleagues had to say about her…

  • To put it simply, Becki has made my job so much easier with her knowledge and efficiency, and will always help at a drop of a hat. A lovely kind person, very approachable and a real asset to the team.
  • We are all paid to do a good job which for me isn’t over and above, however Becki does everything in her own time for events for us all to have a good time. All the work she has taken on with the apprentices, cakes she bakes for all events as well, all done in her own time and with a smile too!! Now that’s what I call over and above. Oh and she is also very efficient. Go Becki!!!
  • The commitment and amount of hard work she puts in into day to day operations of head office is amazing. She has been Santa’s little helper recently and not only spent her own time on Sunday for the office to look great and Christmassy, but she has also put a lot of effort into organising the Christmas party that we all enjoyed. On top of that she has the loveliest personality that makes you smile first thing in the morning.
  • Always goes above and beyond for everyone and puts so much effort into everything she does and cares so much about her work. All the work involved in organising extracurricular activities is amazing, she does this all to ensure everyone loves coming to work. A true asset to the business.
  • I may well have voted for her before but the fact that I am, shows what an asset she is to the company. She is always a pleasure to communicate with, she’s helpful and so hard working.
  • You struck GOLD when you recruited her so please keep Becki around at all costs! Plus, the delicious cakes and all…
  • Great attitude, hard worker, keen to please (sometimes too much so!) and a lovely person to have around. Always willing to work late to get the job done. A real asset.

Our directors, Paul and Jeff, were away skiing, hence the snowy shot in the background! They sent their congratulations via video and the rest of us were thrilled to crown our latest Employee of the Season.

Thank you for your continued commitment and hard work, Becki and most importantly…keep smiling🙂
