For the last 12 months, Rapid has been supporting the charity Macmillan, in both a financial and practical capacity.

We’ve had great fun climbing mountain s, selling cakes on the streets of Sunninghill and cycling across the UK (static bikes on Ascot High Street to be precise!). We would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers, suppliers and employees who have all got behind our mission, so much so that we’ve managed to raise the huge sum of £5188.33!

In addition to raising money, we’ve spent the year providing a cleaning service for some of Macmillan’s cancer patients. In total, we have donated approximately 50 hours of cleaning. This is what Macmillan had to say about our support this year…

“Macmillan would like to thank Rapid for the amazing contribution they have made to our Buddying service, by offering cleaning services to the people affected by cancer that we support. Sometimes it’s the simple day to day tasks such as cleaning, that can really become a burden when someone is going through a cancer experience, so the support that Rapid Clean have shown is really invaluable.”

As a company, we have thoroughly enjoyed having an outside focus for the year and being able to give something back to the community. And what better cause than Macmillan? Our thanks go to Natalie Hill and the Macmillan team for encouraging us and supporting us throughout the year.
