Rapid Superstar Nominations – Quarter 3 of 2016

Suzanne Whitton • November 7, 2016

We recently reached the end of Quarter 3 of 2016, which means one thing here at Rapid – time to choose another Superstar.

The winner will be someone who has shown dedication and commitment to the company, regularly going above and beyond in their role. As always, our Contracts Managers were spoilt for choice when nominating but below you will find all those who have been deemed worthy of the award.

Philip Cleave – The Reeds Arms

Philip was nominated by his Contracts Manager, Peter Soares: “Philip is doing very well – he’s a nice guy and works well with the customer”.

Frederick Otoo – South Lake School

Frederick was nominated by his Contracts Manager, Bernice Anim: “We were short of staff at South Lake but now Frederick will stay and make sure every section is covered. He is also a hard working young man and well liked everywhere you place him. I think he deserves to know that as a company we do appreciate all that he has done for us”.

Komlan Agbotse – Blanco UK

Komlan was nominated by his Contracts Manager, Eddie Kalule: “When Komlan first joined Rapid, we had an unhappy customer. Since then the contract has been running smoothly and the audit scores have increased steadily. He managed to galvanise his fellow workmates and now they love their job which was not the case before. His communication with both the customer and myself is brilliant. I always get good compliments from both the customer and his workmates about his professionalism, so I think he deserves my nomination.”

Fatouma Liddle – Index and Sunningdale School

Fatouma was nominated by her Contracts Manager, Aga Skupien: “Fatouma provides an excellent service and both clients really appreciate her work. She is very reliable, punctual, committed and a hard working person. It’s a  huge pleasure and honour to work with such an amazing person like Fatouma.”

Susan WilliamsThames Club

Susan was nominated by her Contracts Manager, Diana Marothy: “Susan is reliable and never lets me or the club down. She can hold the whole team together and sorts out problems straight away.”

Katarzyna Dembowska – Mortimer Surgery

Katarzyna was nominated by her Contracts Manager, Goran Velinovski: “Katarzyna is the cleaner for the superstar award. Everything she does is perfect and I will be very happy if she wins.”

Denise Bayere  Digbeu – Cooperative Child Care and Cooperative Nursery

Denis was nominated by her Contracts Manager, Joseph Muwonge: “After losing a contract at a Childcare site due to changes at the client’s head office in 2014 (where they wanted to go in-house) we were called back in 2016 and got Denise who has been praised by the Nursery manager. We were asked to cover a sister site in Charlton, which we have now signed up on full contract with a special request for Denise to be their cleaner. I have worked with Denise and due to her dedication and communication skills, I nominate her for Superstar of the quarter.”

Keith Davies – Albea

Keith was nominated by his Regional Manager, Obie Shipe: “Keith has shown his dedication to us as company on several occasions. Considering this is a major contract we can’t afford to have issues when the supervisor is away. Keith has saved us by being available to cover shifts at very short notice. Ever ready to listen to instructions, he is a good team player. His standards of cleaning are very good and he encourages his colleagues to work to the same high standards.”

Lorraine Ward – Total Gas and Power

Lorraine was nominated by her Regional Manager, Andy Hollister: “Lorraine is so efficient and loyal, I have known her for around 2 years. In a nutshell, Lorraine is the glue that holds the team together at Total Gas and I don’t know what we would do without her! She is polite, hardworking and nothing is too much trouble for Lorraine – she is an asset to our company and Total Gas.”

Karen Hyde Mill Lane School

Karen was nominated by her Contracts Manager, Chudi Uzowulu: “Karen is dedicated and hardworking, dependable, committed and reliable. She has indeed made my work easy at the site and greatly deserves the recognition.”

Congratulations to everyone who has been nominated this quarter. The winner will be notified in due course and invited into head office to receive their prize.
