It’s that time of year again, when we ask our Contracts Managers to nominate one cleaning operative who they feel deserves the title: Rapid Superstar of the Quarter.

As always, every individual nominated will receive a small gift but there can only be one overall winner.  We asked our Contracts Managers to share their reason for nominating each cleaner and these were the results:

Eszter Toth“Eszter and her team have worked extra hard this quarter, doing additional work at very short notice.  She goes the extra mile to make sure all areas are done to a good standard” Bernice Anim, Contracts Manager, Guildford.

Katende Godfrey“Katende works for us at 3 different sites. He clearly loves what he is doing and has never yet missed a day of cleaning”. Tom Bagaza, Contracts Manager, Oxford.

Babu Kumar –  “Babu works at 3 sites every day. He is always willing to help with cover cleans at short notice and is totally dependable”. David Abbott, Contracts Manager, Cambridge.

Ann Ryan“Ann is very positive, reliable and hard working. Always willing to do overtime where necessary”.  Premek Wrotnowski, Contracts Manager, Egham.

Oma Kumari“Standards at Oma’s site are always very good. The customer reviews are always very positive”. Gareth Love, Contracts Manager, Southampton.

Dube Henry“Dube is always cheerful, polite and does an excellent job. Never any issues at his site”. Csilla Onodi, Contracts, Manager, Coventry.

Daniel Evering“Daniel is an outstanding individual who has gone above and beyond in his role, achieving impeccable standards. He is courteous, hard working and a valued leader of his team.” Andy Hollister, Contracts Manager, Portsmouth.

What a great team we have at Rapid – it’s going to be a tough choice this Quarter!  We look forward to announcing the winner next week.

LGPS requirements are often misunderstood, yet they can have important financial and administrative implications for both schools and service providers. Understanding the basics early in the procurement process can help avoid delays, unexpected costs and compliance issues later on.
