And the winner is…

After much deliberation over the fantastic bunch of nominees for this season’s Rapid Superstar, we have chosen to award the title to Eszter Toth who currently works as full-time Site Supervisor over at RHS Wisley.

Eszter has been working for Rapid since October 2010 when she joined the team as a Cleaning Supervisor, working at various sites across Surrey and Berkshire. When we won the RHS Wisley contract at the beginning of 2013, we needed to find the right site supervisor. Possessing all of the qualities required for the job,  Eszter seemed the obvious choice and has made a great impact.

This is what Elwyn Owen, RHS Wisley ‘s Visitor Services Manager, had to say about Eszter:

“Eszter is always very reliable, efficient and good at her job. Nothing is ever a problem for her and she always does it with a smile on her face. Eszter makes my job very easy as you don’t need to ask twice for anything to get done. If I could afford a cleaner at home, I’d definitely employ Eszter!”

RHS Wisley is one of our most prestigious contracts and a site we are very proud to call a customer. With over 1 million visitors per year to the world’s leading gardening charity, it is a very busy site and one which requires close attention in order to provide the cleaning service required.  Having spoken to Eszter, it would seem that this working environment suits her:

I enjoy working at Wisley; the staff and customers are so nice to work for and I particularly like all the exercise and fresh air as I walk around the grounds. I have a great team working for me, with people I can trust.”

Eszter does a great job at keeping on top of this very varied site with kitchens, cafes, a shop and numerous toilets around the grounds. We fully appreciate Eszter’s commitment to the role and clearly so do Wisley Gardens.  Well done Eszter!

LGPS requirements are often misunderstood, yet they can have important financial and administrative implications for both schools and service providers. Understanding the basics early in the procurement process can help avoid delays, unexpected costs and compliance issues later on.
