Rapid’s Latest Employee of the Season

Suzanne Whitton • April 18, 2016

We love celebrating success at Rapid and in particular, congratulating staff for hard work and dedication to the company.

With this in mind, every quarter we invite our head office staff to nominate one of their colleagues as their ‘Rapid Employee of the Season’. This person can be a member of any of the teams: Accounts, Customer Services, Sales, Operations, Administration.

This current season (December – February) we had a number of nominations which is always good to see. But two people ended up as joint winners….

Peter Soares, Jeff Whitton (MD) and Emily Collins

Peter Soares works in our Operations Department as a Contracts Manager. He originally began working for Rapid in January 2014 as a cleaning operative. He was promoted within around 6 months of being with us. This is what some of his colleagues had to say about him…

His Paysheets are consistently well completed. He always has new starter Paperwork filled in correctly with the data required. I have talked to some of his staff – he is well liked.

Always good  feedback about him from clients , very rare that any complaints come to the office from his clients  if they do they are rectified efficiently as he always goes over and above to make sure he addresses anything to prevent it being escalated. Office staff in general find him really accommodating and helpful.

He really cares about his contracts and staff. Because of this, he always makes sure that he gets advice and does the right thing in a professional manner, whilst keeping the relevant people updated.

I would like to nominate Peter Soares, as he is consistently polite, helpful and always professional.

Emily Collins is our head of Human Resources. She has been a Rapid employee since June 2015. This is what some of her colleagues had to say about her…

I would like to nominate Emily Collins. She is always thinking of the team in one way or another. Offers tea etc. A very positive person in general.

Emily! Very efficient. That is all.

I am going to nominate Emily who is always there when I need help from sorting out phones, ipads, giving guidance when carrying out disciplinary with my staff to offering me chocolate when I am hungry.

I’d like to nominate Emilyshe goes above and beyond every day, always there to help anyone with anything!

Huge congratulations to both Emily and Peter – two hard-working, dedicated employees who deserve a pat on the back.
