Client Case Study: Softcat, Marlow, Buckinghamshire

Softcat is a leading provider of IT solutions and services to businesses across the UK. Maria,  the Office Manager in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, was looking for an ‘efficient, reliable cleaning service’, something they were no longer getting from their contractor of three years.

Investing in a Better Cleaning Service

Maria was keen to be removed from the day-to-day management of the cleaning and after contacting us for a quote in 2018, she was immediately impressed by the support structure provided by Rapid. The tailored cleaning schedule demonstrated the organisation that Maria was looking for, and being introduced to the local Contracts Manager for the Buckinghamshire area, helped to confirm that she would be well looked after.


Although the cost was slightly more than they were paying at the time, Maria felt this would be a good investment…


“We do pay a bit more money with Rapid, but we have a better service and the number of cleaners has increased. It has been worth paying a bit more money to get what we want; we are now getting good value for money.”


Flexibility has been key for Softcat. In 2020 they transformed the ground floor of their building into a Covid vaccination centre and the Rapid Clean team worked hard to help make this happen…
