Announcing Our Latest Employee of the Season

Suzanne Whitton • Oct 02, 2017

Due to a somewhat disappointing summer in the UK, we postponed Rapid’s Summer Fun Day to mid September. BBQ lit (or gas fired up) we enjoyed a burger before taking to the field for a game of rounders. It was certainly an amusing couple of hours out of the office.

During the afternoon,  we announced our latest Employee of the Season. This award is given to the person who colleagues anonymously nominate as the most deserving employee, someone who consistently goes above and beyond in their role.

The winner this season was Andrew Hollister, Regional Manager on the south coast. Andy has been nominated many times before and even won a Rapid Teamwork Award at our company meeting back in April. Joining Rapid in 2013 as Contracts Manager, he quickly proved his loyalty to the company and dedication to customers, being promoted to Regional Manager shortly after.

This is what some of his colleagues had to say about him:

“I would like to nominate Andy for employee of the season. He has always been really accommodating and happy to help with any questions that I’ve had about the business and how it works. As a newbie with lots of queries he has been useful to learn from.”

“Andy has had my vote a couple of times now but I feel he always gives extra to his job role, so it’s only fair for him to have another vote of mine! He is a great advocate for our Operations Team, always professional, friendly and helpful. He helps to bridge the gap between the team in the field and the team in HO, this really helps us all provide a better service to the business. I think he really holds Rapid Clean high on his priority list!”

“I’m nominating Andy for his hard work and willingness to help out if needs be, for both head office and/or the ops team.”

“He’s always so helpful with any questions I have. I never feel silly for asking anything, he is always willing to help out and has given me some great tips & tricks in dealing with difficult questions. He is a pleasure to work with too!”

“He is an all-rounder, deals with his customers very well and his staff are well respected by all.”

“He is always happy to help with any enquiries, provides a great example to the staff members and always has a smile on his face.”

“Andy is a pleasure to work with, always helpful, very organised and follows every task from beginning to end.”

Congratulations to Andy – a very deserving winner who was nominated a total of 7 times!

And finally, a little clip from our rounders tournament to brighten up your week…
