Introducing the Latest Rapid Superstar – Quarter 3 of 2016

Suzanne Whitton • Dec 12, 2016

We received many worthy nominations for this quarter’s Superstar award. It’s always difficult to choose a winner from a list where people are described as “hard working”, “reliable, punctual and committed”, “a good team player”“polite and hard working – nothing is too much trouble”.

We are very privileged to be spoiled for choice every single quarter. But we did eventually pick a winner, largely due to the excellent feedback given by Joe Burgess, the manager at the site where she cleans:

Sue is a fantastic asset to the cleaning team here at the Thames Club, without her organisation and hard work the cleaning team would not function. Not only does she turn up on time and never moan, but she will clean whatever is needed. No job is too big or small!  It makes it a lot easier for me to do my job as she will also communicate any issues I have not spotted around the club and is very welcoming with members!”

Our winner this quarter is Susan Williams who has been working for Rapid at The Thames Club since May 2014 when we took over the contract.

Diana Marothy (Rapid’s Contracts Manager), Susan Williams and Paul Claxton (Rapid’s Operations Director).

Sue was thrilled to have been nominated by Diana Marothy, her Contracts Manager. This is what she said about working for Rapid and her commitment to The Thames Club:

“I had been working at the Thames Club for a few years already when Rapid took over the contract. I transferred across as a Rapid employee because I feel very loyal towards the Thames Club. I really enjoy meeting and working with the membership and the staff at the Thames Club and also with Diana. The communication that I get from Diana is better than any manager I’ve had before. When she visits the club, she always involves me and I find her helpful and fun to work with.”

Giving out these awards is most definitely a highlight of our quarter. Congratulations to Sue on being our latest Rapid Superstar – a thoroughly committed and hard working member of the team.
